FREE | Audio Effects for Live Performance: dolltr!ck's Dan Subbing Rack

a rack named in honor of Dan Freeman, a true force and pioneer in contemporary electronic performance. when i subbed for some of dan's courses at berklee college of music, where we are both on faculty, the students and i studied his famous DAN FREEMAN LIVE EFFECTS rack. this is available for download at dan's own gumroad page—please support his work there. we then created our own racks from the ground up!

building off dan's rack and my own dolltr!ck racks (some of which are also available at my gumroad page), here is a new set of 14 macro knob effects that we made in class, with some wild cards that i threw in later on.

while optimized for live performance (low latency device settings, some volume adjustments etc.), this rack can also be used for studio production and sound design, of course ٩(◕‿◕)۶ 

effects include:

• filters (high pass and low pass)
• time-based effects (delay, echo, reverb)
• ableton live classics like scratch and fade to grey (iykyk)
• other extras (have fun!)
